Jane could feel the hot sweat budding on her fore head and neck as she fought to keep control. She was hiding in the dark shadows of her room, curled up in the corner, her back against the wall. She was holding her legs tightly to her chest, and rocking, but only slightly. Her eyes had turned from their normal deep brown to a icy blue and her fangs were in full form. She was fighting her change and need to feed the best she could, but it wasnt enough. She let out an exhausted breath and closed her eyes, ignoring everything, even the knock at the door.

"Hello? Are you ok in there?" A young girl's voice asked while knocking on the door. Artemis was walking down the hallways out of boredom, they looked deserted and there would be no way of esposure. Even if they were the 'humans hallways' she didn't care. No human could tell her where to go or what to do for she would never take orders from a lower rank, in this case, food. With an aggitated sigh she crossed her arms and waited for an answer from the unknown being in the room. If it were a human, she'd probably kill it, it probably was for she was on their turf, but then again, they considered everything their turf these days...

(((lol its fine, mine are sucky lol)))
Jane didnt reply at first, but gave in. "I'm fine, go away." she snapped bitterly, hoping the tone in her voice would make the person mad enough to leave. She opened her eyes, seeing perfectly, like a cat in the darkness.

Artemis merely laughed on the inside at the response she got from the other side of the door. Wait, am I supposed to be afraid of that? she thought to herself. She had seen scary things and she had heard scary things, she'd even smelled scary things, but the tone of the unknown woman was not the least bit scary. No, scary was when hewas pissed off and she was in his way, now that would be, or was, a terrifying experience.
The young girl raised a brow at the closed door in front of her, curiosity pulling her, driving her to open it. Quickly she glanced over her shoulders for him but seeing nor hearing absolutely no one she opened the door to see a woman huddled in the corner of her room, rocking herself in a fettle position. Artemis c.ocked her head in confusion, the woman seemed ok physically. What was wrong?
"Are you sure you're alright, you sure don't look it. Rather pale if ya ask me.." With the word 'pale' said she laughed on the inside. Pale? Do I even know pale anymore? she asked herself before moving closer to the strange woman. Artemis left the door ajar not thinking anyone else was here, but maybe there were other's lurking in the silenced hallways...

Jane glared at the woman, her icy blue eyes glowing in the darkness. "I said I'm fine." She said a bit bitterly, still trying to freak out or anger the intruter. She curled her arms around her legs a bit tigther and looked a the floor. "Go to your room." She muttered as if she was a mother ordering a child.

Artemis looked into the chilling stare the woman gave her So..she's a vampire as well. Is that what she was freaking out about? Her change? Keh..amatures. Artemis thought while reading her hidden expression. Something the young girl had learned to do was change her eye color. One afternoon while she was cooped up and bored in the abandoned school house she often took shelter in during the daylight with a friend of hers they were having a stareing contest. Artemis nearly never backed down from a stare down and this opponent was hard. With a last burst of the instense stare she was giving her friend blinked and said that she changed the color compleatly, to the color when she took on the form of a vampire.
Artemis soon learned to master this rather strange gift, if it were one, and changed the color of her eyes as Jane was speaking, revealing that she too was a creature of the night. By the time the woman was finished speaking she really did burst out laughing this time. It was very odd for she took orders from no one. Keh, you're not my mom" she stated while crossing her arms and leaning against the wall about ten feet from the woman. She expected nothing of it for she was a vampire as well, she hadn't expected for this woman to be one who slaughterd her own kind... [/size]

Jane stared at her. "Fine, have it your way." She muttered as she leaned back, trying to fight this like she had every night for centeries. She took in several rugid breaths and then looked at Artimis again. "Why are you here?" She said, trying to get a good answer. "If you know whats good for you, you'll leave... I'm not the type of person you should be around."

The young girl raised a brow at the question. "I am a mear wanderer, I go wherever my two feet take me." She responded while stareing into space. "I souldn't be around you? You seem the same blood as I, a walker of the night, are you not? Why fight your change?" Artemis made a habbit of that; turning questions into questions. It sometimes botherd whoever she was talking to but she paid no mind to it. The young vampire sighed. She would probably leave soon, not because she was told, but because she was growing bored. Oddly, part of her wished to have a conversation with this woman for she was not friends with many female vampires. Guy's were hard to talk to a lot of times and this could get intersting. "I'm not what I am by chioce." She said, her voice tightening in a painful hiss. She leaned back, knowing if she would just give in her whole body, and mind, wouldnt hurt... but she would hurt someone else.

This vampire was rather persistant, she fought what she physically could not. No matter how hard she tried this is what this woman was now, it could not be changed. Artemis raised a brow at her comment. "Are any of us? You learn to live with it. It has already happened, fate has decided your destiny..." Artemis knew what came out of her mouth wasn't exactally true for she hadn't minded becomming a vampire at all, it made her fit in. The young girl sighed, now rather bored with being 'scolded' or whatever this woman was doing. She'd probably just leave this woman to her suffering soon enough.
