Cochrane gave Jane a look, saw that her eyes were open and muttered "why me?" then he got up from his bed. "Hopefully you slept well." He said to her. Then he put on a hoodie because it was quite cold in the room. "You cold?" He asked her as he sat back down.

"I'm fine." She said softrly and curled up in the blanket. She sat up a little, leaning against the wall.

Cochrane gave her a look and then started shaking his head. "At least you look a little better than yesterday." Cochrane told her referring to the point that she still had the look of having a hangover.

Cochrane gave her another look. He could just not believe how much she had drunk. He knew it was hard to have a friend killed. He hadnt taken it with a grain of salt, but he didnt go getting incredibly drunk. Now he did do a couple other things like run for about 3 hours straight a day. Only ate healthy and lifted weights every day, and that was how he dealt with it. He did other things to forget about it.
He wasnt sure wether he should think that, that was disrespectful to try and forget about it or if he should have been more grevious. He just wasnt sure. Now when Matt died he knew it was coming. He didnt know how but the last time they talked he..just..knew somehow. But of course he didnt trust his feelings and go after Matt, no, he stayed in his hidden home and did nothing. But enough of thinking sorry for himself.
As Cochrane looked at Jane he thought about these things. So he guessed what they did werent much different. Of course he knew that hers seemed more moraly bad, but he knew that they were pretty much the same thing. "Its ok, what you did, I mean the way you reacted. I am not saying its good to drink, I dont drink but thats your decision. I am just saying that I sorta did the same thing ok?" Cochrane said to Jane trying to recomfort her.

She shook her head, trying to push his words away, not wanting another stir of emotions at the moment. She curled her legs to her chest and placed her hands over her face, as if trying to hide herself in some way.

Cochrane watched as she buried her face in her hands. Now he did not know what to do. Of course his words probably didnt mean much help to her, but he had to try to get his words to help. So he looked down at the ground and was silent for a few minutes. "I know that you cant just put this behind you, but you need to start to try ok?" Cochrane said breaking the silence between them.

"I know.. ok?" she said, looking up at him. "I'm not as strong as people think.. and this is only proof of it." she shook her head as stood up, holding on the wall just in case. "I've already turned on to many people... and to loose one of the few who trusted me..." she sighed and looked around. "Just never mind..." she muttered.

"Sometimes." She muttered, though this was a lie. She rarely ever wanted to be alone, but seeing how it is if you're close to someone and they get killed, like Matt, it the wrose thing in the world. He had been her basicly only friend and se had turned her back on him at the last moment... or so thats how she felt.

Cochrane stayed silent. He didnt understand this girl, then again he sort of did. He knew that her emotions were flying around, but sometimes it seems like shes perfectly fine. He just didnt understand Jane at all
"So tell me, what are your plans now? Just forget your life and let vampires kill as they please?" Cochrane asked innocently.

"Maybe I'll join them." She said, her voice icy, but true. "Thats what I am after all... I burn in the sun, and I need blood to keep going on..." she shrugged and looked at him. "I dont want to hurt anyone... but at times it seems I have no choice."

So much for asking her about Matthew. Cochrane thought to himself. He then without a twitch on anyplace on his body he shot his chain out at Jane going for her neck.
